- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Last time, we purchased 2kg of mince. The outside was pink and the inside was brown and smelly. I complained to them, and was told that the pink in the outside was just from oxidation. Really? I threw the meat out - it was unusable. 6 months later, I decided to try again. I bought lamb shanks for slow cooking over the fire, as our usual supplier had run out. We just kept cooking and cooking them slowly thinking they'd finally get tender, but they were absolute rubbish. Again! In the bin. Never again Chop Shop.
